Borrowing the motto of one of the local mobile provider, "It's time to change". With that said, I will be blogging on a new blog host from now. So this is the last post here before I delete this blog soon. If you still read my blog, kindly direct yourself to http://mrrobotix.blogspot.com/.
The school holiday is starting and my work will be at minimum for the time being if not no work at all. So 'tis a good to update this blog I guess.
Anyway I'm considering on a new host for this blog as the current host has a limited amount of space given, unless I pay them. So instead of spending my time on notpr0n, I'm going to test other blog host. For those who haven't delete my link from their blog, you'll need to update the link soon.
Today, we have lot of time to spare during lunchtime (before and after the prayer)as we don't need to go to lunch, thus Mizie, Gorgom, and I decided to put ourselves the shoes of the Mythbusters and crack a myth.
The myth as been told to me by Mizie was that if accidentally left your keys in the car or lost it, you can deactivate the remote control lock if you had a spare remote at home. Using your handphone, you call someone's handphone at home and try use the spare remote to deactivate the lock through the handphone. Sound interesting isn't it.
As a Microwave Engineering graduate, I was skeptical and I really don't think it was possible. Gorgom on the other hand think that it might be true and Mizie even claims he already tested it with his wife and it was successful.
The test was first conducted using my K750i paired with Mizie's 3310. The test subject was Mizie's Accent. With a considerable amount of distance that we believe the remote won't reach the car, the test fails as I anticipated. Mizie was dissatisfied and think that the pair was incompatible.
We switched the pair by using Gorgom's 3315 and Mizie's 3310. The test this time seems to succeed but I brought up the issue of distance as we test it with less distance than the first. That got us arguing for quite a while.
Finally to really verify the myth we conduct a last test using same pair in the second test but with a distance that we all agree the remote won't work. This time the test proves that the myth is.. busted.
Haa.. notice the image on my profile section had change? The image you see there is broadcast direct from my webcam at the office. Well it's not actually my webcam. I borrowed it from Mizie. The image is updated every 30 seconds.
For no special reason I just wanna play around with gadgets. I originally wanted to do a live streaming, but couldn't get it done as I got zero knowledge on it plus no public IP. At the moment, the snapshot is hosted on my PC at home, hence you can only view it within office hours. So you can now see things I do at the office, voyeur style.
As we know Tapai has gone to further his study (according to him anyway) to Manchester. This mark a great step for the Losers Club as we has now spread our branch to UK. In the spirit of the club, we've gathered at KLIA to send him off. Here a clips of the night for those who miss it.
Robotix is just a guy who thinks he's hot and works in a cubicle (used to sits at a small desk in the corner) at an office in Cyberjaya. Love his family, his lovely wife, his life, mangas, animes, BTVS, Angel, Smallville. He dreams to be a superhero that saves the world someday.
